Yeah, my former friend was also told that it was from "drinking." Scapegoat -- they will NEVER examine the idea that the shot could have caused it. This woman did/does have *severe* anxiety issues (said "anxiety" being, I think, a primary product of lifestyle). I'm certain that the anxiety didn't help, but the correlation between shot --> arrhythmia is difficult to ignore -- particularly given the sheer quantity of cases.

My best friend (different friend, obviously) and I were just discussing this the other day. I don't talk to people at all, really, but she does, and she said that she's been coming across this problem a lot lately. She will lay out an argument -- slowly, rationally, in a step-wise fashion -- and then, at the end, the other person will say, "Well, but X" -- reverting back to the "Party Line" as if she'd never said a word. We were discussing the concept of NPCs.
Again, I don't really talk to people, so I haven't observed this phenomenon myself, but I might have to start. I am curious.
