Personally, I feel that the Donbas matter justified the actions taken and I am confident that Russia will limit their military action as much as they can. (When you think on it, nothing could compare to the US generated wars over the past 80 years). Already it seems that many Ukrainian soldiers are handing in their weapons, seeing the writing on the wall and unless they have been living in a vacuum, are aware of the evil US connections to all their present problems, driven from 7800 kilometres away in Washington. Ukrainians of old age can certainly remember the 1932-1933 Holodomor, the starvation of their country by Stalin who at the time was on the way to becoming a valued ally of the West. Good old "Uncle Joe" as he was known and revered during the second world war and in all western countries around the world. So for those Ukrainians, very low in numbers now, it was the equal in numbers of deaths to the well promoted holocaust, but without all the hype, museums and on. But a very sad period. Death by slow starvation for multi millions of Ukrainians.

Since those days, changes have occurred until based on the world domination schedule of Washington, and the "buying off" of a Ukrainian government, selected for its subservience to all things American, it has been the platform for a new Cold War initiative by all the various incumbents in the White House, one no better than the other. An easy mark for the US 'tried and proven' politically corrupt practices with their ultimate intention to be sitting with its NATO forces right on the border, stirring away like a mischievous child. 'Enough', said Putin and here we are today.

Let us hope that somewhere in the USA there will be enough rational thinkers who may, on analysis of past actions, realise that they do not own the world and have no claim to anything outside of their own domain. That could eliminate the need for a fleet of foreign nuclear-powered, nuclear-armed submarines being based off the coast of Florida in international waters with the aim of equalising the current US / NATO bases on the very doorstep of Russia and dotted around the globe....800 bases and rising, all commencing after World War II, 87 years in the past.

The world needs to do better than to accept the likes of a an white imperialist team of a Biden (previously a Trump) in the USA, a feckless Johnson in the UK, an arrogant Trudeau based in Canada and a little US bag carrier called Morrison on an island called Australia.

There are better people out there, surely.
