How Sanders and his DSA cohorts can presume to accept the killing rationale while waving a social justice banner for domestic change is, I think, an insight to the price of admission into the faux democratic process as put on by the single-party tyrants. The self-described “rebels” can talk about corporate graft until they’re blue in the face. They can tweet about America’s apartheid partner in the Middle East, and stand tall against the baseless claims of anti-semitism, but they cannot confront the baseless claim of “unprovoked” that has been used to rewrite the history and backstory of the Ukraine war. If Sanders and other progressives are going to pay the devil to hold office in Washington, only to cover their eyes and mouths when it comes time to honestly address America’s imperialism, they are fooling nobody but themselves. They are subservient and neutered by their own compromises. I believe that if Sanders and Co. were serious and honest, they’d recognize that resigning and starting a truly adversarial political party us in order.
