This is partly our own fault. Trump ripping up the nuclear deal was a huge mistake. We pushed Iran into a painful corner and have almost no leverage there now. And China and Russia swooped in to save the day. When will we learn that wherever we leave a vacuum the Chinese will step in and take advantage. The days of foreigners being in awe of the US are over. We have to be a lot smarter going forward.
