Unfortunately most Chinese people support the CCP and will continue to do so as long as living standards continue to rise. At their core, the Chinese care more about accumulation of wealth than they do about free speech. You saw what happened in HK. Most people just wanted to get back to business as usual. As long as the west continues to subsidize the Chinese economy, there will be no regime change.
