Of course they are, because we have allowed them to get to a position from which they can consider decoupling. We transferred our IP, closed our factories and educated their children in STEM subjects. We need to be doing more of what the Chinese are doing if we hope to compete with them. Decoupling is but a first step and there will be pain.
