The honeymoon between Pakistan and China is coming to an end. 合久必分，分久必合. The Pakistani people are not stupid. They see that one belt one road is merely a ploy to flood Pakistan with Chinese goods, thereby choking Pakistani industries and costing Pakistanis jobs. Unfortunately Pakistan cannot simply print dollars to fund these imports, so the pain for an already poor country is acute. Plus, the Chinese are for the most part atheists which does not sit well in a Muslim country.
