Well said, Ryan! I can't argue with anything you said. I do think there is a spiritual component to AI that will not be readily apparent to even astute observers. I agree with Gato that this environment could be ripe for deception. Could a Pied Piper come along and offer people the promise of immortality or some kind of superhuman powers based off of some type of Transhuman technology? I do not know. I do think people should be on guard and not quick to follow the leader.
