Phillip, I agree with your statements 100%. Societies are complex and layered. Without the Daughters of Crete, we may never have grown into cities from the plains. They were afforded all the riches and resources of the time. They grew into the Kingdom of Naples. Those women are of the highest level of mathematicians. 90% of a society can have submissive women, and 10% could be the most tyrannical of all beings. 90% of a society can have subordinate males, but it won't stop people saying it is a male dominated society. People of thought get what they demand, or the given Cretan Guards (aka, male powers) subordinate them. All statements made by any entity apply to the levels of the hierarchy they are purporting. Blog posts are short, and cannot touch on all the complexities.
