Thanks for your response. Yes, it true that are such double standards that persists. A great example is the covid pandemic. There were some people on social were overly glorifying a 16 year girl for standing up the teachers for the mask mandate and saying, "she's braver than most men". They somehow overlooked that it was overwhelmingly men who took the risky option to protest the vaccine mandate: Canadian Truckers convoy, the huge protest, which broke out as a low level riot in Australia, a man in America who absolutely refused to close down the gym and he incurred several fines, even doctors who spoke out against the immoral implementation of the mandate were mostly men. Women are praised more for doing less, whereas men are mostly not recognized for their contribution.

I'm not even sure if believe in equality of opportunity. The influx of women into workplace has been disastrous and changed the culture for worse. I often wonder if housewives acted as a natural barrier that prevented too many women from dominating an occupation, such as teaching, which puts boys at a disadvantage.

Patriarchy, as describe in Edward Dutton's book, is the natural order of civilsation.
