For now, the Democrats’ calls to “reinvent themselves” are rhetorical than actual. I’m no constitutional law scholar, but shouldn’t the Democratic members of congress be filing for restraining orders to stop each of the illegal (meaning contrary to the constitution or federal statutes) acts of Trump or his proxies? Why are they leaving it to the states and individual citizens?
The Department of Education is under attack, but cannot swiftly be dismantled. The majority of the people in this country are products of our public school system. We need more funding, more resources.
The National Education Association is one of those resources.

When I first started traveling for work, I was the guy so anxious about flying that I’d show up four hours before my flight. No joke, one time I got to the airport before any of the TSA agents and they laughed at me when they showed up.
