Jenna Ortega is carving out a space for herself in the crowded celebrity fashion scene.
Ever since her star-turning role on Netflix's Wednesday, in which she puts a refreshing spin on the titular Addams Family character, the 20-year-old actress hasn't shied away from the dark all-black looks Wednesday is known for. (We've dubbed it Wednesday-core.)
Case in point: Ortega's latest outing to Saint Laurent's fall/winter 2023 menswear fashion show. The Gen Z star stepped out in Paris yesterday wearing a gothic take on the hooded gown trend, featuring a slinky inky black slipdress with a crisscrossing halter top that doubled as a hood. The backless design only added to the piece's glamorous effect.
To accessorize, Ortega wore layers of chunky bangles in gold and amber tones. A pair of shiny platform sandals in black capped off the ensemble. And as for glam, she complemented the look with black eyeliner, a rosy brown lip, and spiky slick bangs.
Ortega has been on something of a fashion streak since the release of Wednesday.
She recently made waves on the 2023 Golden Globes red carpet, where she wore a sweeping sand-colored evening gown by Gucci, which featured a wrapped bodice and sheer, pleated, floor-length sleeves. The torso of the dress also had abdominal cutouts strung together by silver hoops. She upped the ante with Tiffany & Co. accessories, wearing layers of diamond choker necklaces and a pair of studded earrings, and metallic silver platform heels.
