September Monthly Roundup
As the autumnal leaves are falling and closing the summer chapter, September has been a busy and fruitful month for Pendulum’s teams. Our community is growing by leaps and by bounds, product and tech developments are getting mature, and we’re also gearing up to become a parachain at the end of this year, but in the meantime, we want to give you the best roundup in September!
Before we get into it, a monthly roundup on the progress we’re making with Pendulum will be a part of our regular communication and a way to keep you updated with what’s on the table — especially if you’re new here or haven’t been around for a while. We hope that this format helps keep things organised and easy to digest so you can stay in the loop with us.

$AMPE Crowdloan Rewards are Distributed
We’re thrilled to share that $AMPE crowdloan rewards are finally distributed.
We really want to thank everyone who supported us on this journey, and we hope you’re as excited as we are about what’s coming next. We want to take this opportunity to remind everyone what you can do with your $AMPE tokens.
First, you own the voting power and governance on the chain. That means you’ll be able to vote on decisions that drive an impact to the network. Staking will also be enabled next, and you’ll be able to stake your $AMPEs to secure the network and earn rewards. And finally, token transfers are being enabled at the democracy launch. This means you’re free to send them to any person or service you wish.
This significant portion of the token supply has been distributed fully, it is now in the hands of the community. For more information on Amplitude’s tokenomics can be found here.
Amplitude went live on NovaWallet, Subwallet and Talisman Wallet
We are extremely pleased to announce that Amplitude has been added to NovaWallet App.
Nova platform offers abundant functionality. We are excited to be able to offer our users more options than ever before — and we know you will be too!
And there’s more! Amplitude is also live on SubWallet App, an exciting new platform that offers an easy-to-use interface for all of your needs. And Amplitude is fortunate enough to have been integrated with TalismanWallet as well!

Amplitude Launched Grant Program 💵
Amplitude is excited to announce the new Grants Program that will support developers in translating EVM protocols over to WebAssembly (WASM) for Amplitude parachain on Kusama. Amplitude is a canary network of its sister blockchain, Pendulum that acts as a testing ground but with real financial consequences. Now Amplitude will fund builders to grow Pendulum’s Amplitude chain.

Amplitude Airdrop 🪂
As the Amplitude Democratization roll-out was in full effect, we wanted to celebrate it and airdrop $AMPE to our community! We had a great response from the community and we want to thank everyone for your support.
We gave away 12500 $AMPE among 250 winners. Here’s how it went:
- We had 5400+ participants in total.
- The winners were randomly selected among all participants.
- All 250 winners received a total of 12500 $AMPE as a reward for taking part in our Airdrop campaign.

AMA with Darwinia Network
Pendulum had the honor of joining Darwinia Network for an AMA.
Our CEO and CTO discussed about unlocking the future of Stellar Blockchain on Polkadot, and how it would bring an impact to the ecosystem.

Interoperability — The next big narrative
In Pendulum 4th Community Call, we hosted @Boblblob from @ZeitgeistPM and Francisco from @MoonbeamNetwork on the line and discussed if interoperability is the next narrative to dominate the crypto sphere.

We wrapped up our 5th Pendulum Community Call, featuring Tommi from Mangata & Deepansh from Polkadex, and we had a blast.
On this call, we took a deep dive into on- and off-chain trading in Web3. We learned about how to trade on-chain, what are the roles of Polkadex & Mangata in on- and off-chain trading, and so on.

Explore the Paraverse with Talisman
In this call, we are bringing you a deep dive into how the current foreign exchange (FOREX) markets work, and how Pendulum’s brand-new forex trading platform can resolve some of the obstacles present therein. Also, we discussed the Amplitude parachain and its future, potential partnerships with Dotsama collaborators like Acala, and the Talisman wallet experience.

The Polkadot Party was a blast!
Pendulum was proud to be an official partner of Borderless Berlin Blockchain Week. The event was hosted by Polkadot and took place on September 15th 2022. Together with other top projects in Polkadot ecosystem, including Astar Network, Bifrost Finance, Phala Network and so on, our CEO gave a talk about Decentralised Fiat Ecosystem and the future of Pendulum.
