President Trump tweeted Tuesday morning praise for Rasmussen Reports’ “honest polling’” that said he had now reached a 50 percent approval rating among U.S. voters.
“Thank you to Rasmussen for the honest polling. Just hit 50%, which is higher than Cheatin’ Obama at the same time in his Administration,” Trump tweeted.

On April 2, 2010 Obama received a 46 percent approval rating from the same conservative leaning Rasmussen Reports.
The polling outfit is shunned by some media groups that say it favors right-leaning candidates and issues.
