ACC commits $10m to Blackbird Aotearoa fund

The Accident Compensation Fund has committed more than $10 million to Blackbird Aotearoa’s second fund dedicated to investing in New Zealand startups. Crown owned fund-of-funds NZ Growth Capital Partners has also committed $30m, double what it contributed to Blackbird’s first local fund. Blackbird Aotearoa is the local arm of one of Australia’s largest venture funds which has a portfolio valued at $10 billion.
