Ed Sheeran just became the first musical artist to reach 100 million followers on Spotify.
Sheeran, 31, is by far the most popular artist on the streaming platform, substantially ahead of Ariana Grande (81.64 million followers), Billie Eilish (66.18 million), Drake (65.40 million) and Justin Bieber (63.49 million).
Sheeran celebrated the milestone by posting a video on Spotify showing him in a T-shirt sporting the words, “ASK ME ABOUT MY 100 MILLION SPOTIFY FOLLOWERS.”
Not surprisingly, the singer is also the most-streamed Spotify artist with 81.20 million monthly listeners.
