BTW folks - boycott Taco Johns: my husband was denied service at the Taco Johns drivethru in Grand Junction for being of the "white male patriarchy" class. I know, just another reason to boycott Taco Johns but WTH Be careful what you wish for ! just sayin . . .
So more important than farmers, homeowners, industry - the recreational motorboats? THATS what matters? Honestly, it still boggles my mind that people continue to water their lawns through this drought! We have been lucky so far (NYS) but very dry here. More so than I remember. Lawns looking pretty brown - only good thing I think I mowed about once every 3-4 weeks. Where the heck is people's common sense?
Its like the attitude towards gas shortages. Not much attempt to cut back on driving - everyone has to get theirs (!) before someone else does. The same goes for our most important resource - WATER!
