The kōiwi of 64 Māori and Moriori tūpuna were returned from the Natural History Museum of Vienna this week, many of them stolen from Aotearoa by Austrian grave-robber Andreas Reischek. Nē? talked to two of the team behind Te Papa’s Karanga Aotearoa Repatriation Programme, Te Arikirangi Mamaku-Ironside and Dr. Amber Aranui, about bringing our people home.

Remembering Hana

Ki te kore, nui rawa ngā mihi ki a koutou.
Loving these pods, especially the latest
I am learning so much. As a white women I am so jealous of the way ikura is sacred for some cultures. The movement wāhine are taking to reembrace what it means to them is also helping me to do the same. Leonie has always been a wonderful person to listen to and I've been a fan since the 'on the rag' days.
