PODCAST

The Rights Collective Podcast seeks to vocalise the lived experiences within our communities, but also to invite dialogue, critical thinking and introspection with those who engage with it.

This podcast is space to share our anti-oppression analysis, amplify voices and collaborate with other British South Asians. We are taking ownership of our realities and narratives, encouraging honesty and publicising issues which are often kept private through fear of judgement, marginalisation or dishonour.

Using a podcast platform makes this information more accessible and easier to digest, which we hope will attract a wider audience to our work.

SEASON 1: THE IDENTITY SERIES

This season we’ll be focusing on how our identities have been shaped by our culture, religion, gender, sexuality, upbringing and more. Through interviews with guests from the diaspora, we’ll gain an insight on the diverse identities within our communities and learn how others have balanced the intersecting and perhaps conflicting aspects. Check out episode summaries and show notes below.
