This is to gather information regarding who will participate in the holiday gathering on Dec. 7, at the Witmer House in Des Moines, 2900 Grand Avenue. This can be a way for you to build your paid subscriber base. When I decided to do this for my subscribers and saw it was a helpful tool in building paid subscribers, I wanted to expand the event to any of you who want to leverage it for your readership.
It is scheduled to run from 5-6:30 p.m. If RSVPs come in above 150 (doubtful), we will probably add another time slot from 7-8:30 p.m. It's a nice problem, but that's how we can manage an overflow. Still, let your readers know that space is limited, so it is helpful if they let us know they plan to attend before we have to cap attendees.
This event is open to paid subscribers who may bring a guest or spouse for a $20 contribution at the door.
On Friday, December 8, I reserved a room in our condo building for anyone who wants a best-practice sharing session from 9-noon.
It would be great to find a date when everyone can participate in another all-group gathering, as we did in Jefferson and then the Amanas.
We learned a lot from one another, and it helped us grow.
