Dozens of UAVs attacked an aircraft factory in Taganrog

In Taganrog, Russia, a large number of drones attacked an aircraft factory that manufactures aircraft for the military.

The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the use of at least 41 drones.

As the governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev said, as a result of the attack, an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was injured, who was engaged in eliminating the consequences of a drone raid in Taganrog.

What are the consequences, Golubev did not disclose.

A possible object of the attack in Taganrog could be an aviation enterprise, which is part of the Beriev scientific and technical complex.

Residents of the city previously reported the sounds of explosions and problems with electricity during the operation of air defense. People heard at least five explosions. According to eyewitnesses, drones flew from the sea.

Beriev aircraft factory, among other things, is engaged in the repair and modernization of A-50 aircraft.

The speaker of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army – South, chairman of the Public Council at the Odesa Regional Administration Serhii Bratchuk said that the Ukrainian special services had conducted a successful special operation in Taganrog.

“Tonight, the Ukrainian special services carried out a successful operation with the use of UAVs, and were struck by the PJSC Beriev Aircraft Company in the city of Taganrog,” said Bratchuk.

He noted that a large number of unmanned aircraft complexes with barrage ammunition had hit the shops of the plant and a fire had broken out.

It is also reported that drones attacked Tagmet, a Taganrog metallurgical plant.

As previously reported, in February, Russians lost another A-50 airborne early warning and control aircraft in the sky over the Sea of Azov.
