It is mandatory and will refuse connections to the old one, so install it as quickly as possible.

• Introducing block award equal to 800 ROD, starting on 1st of July ~12:00PM,
  with halving every 1,054,080 blocks /~1 year/ for 5 years and then impose ~3% inflation on the supply of that exact moment until 59 years are passed and the supply reaches ~2.5 fold increment.
