What we’re about
This group is a community of people interested in ideas in and around rationalism.
- If you read LessWrong, Slate Star Codex/Astral Codex Ten, or similar sources, this group is for you.
- If you enjoy thinking critically about and discussing challenging ideas, this group is for you.
- If you nerd out about science, philosophy, AI, and logic, this group is for you.
- If you currently or used to identify as "rat", "post-rat", or something else in the "rat" genus, this group is for you.
- If none of the above apply to you but they sound interesting, this group is for you.
Since Whatcom County is not densely populated, a more narrowly group would be hard to build. So this community aims to be a "big tent" for ideas in and around rationalism.
In order to support this broader audience, we insist that all members assume good intent in others and engage in good faith.
