Senior Front End Engineer

About the role

• You will be working alongside the Openhedge team on one of our incubated projects
• We will expect you to lead overall Front End development of the project
• We will expect you to work closely with other departments such as Design, QA, Operations, and Marketing to successfully execute the implementation, testing and deployment of new features
• You will design, scope and estimate complex features at the component level
• You will identify and advocate for team-wide areas of improvement and best practices
• You will be expected to mentor other team members to refine their technical and architectural skills

What we expect

• Team Management (task assignment, organization, communication, leading sprints/stand-ups, etc.)
• Strong React.js
• You have lead a team previously, no matter how small or large
• You have more than 5 years of experience in shipping great products
• You have shipped some web3 products previously
• Experience working with GraphQL
• You are able to build modern, event-driven React front ends, converting Figma designs into functional components
• Mastery of CSS, preferably via a library like MaterialUI
• Experience with version control, such as Git
• Nice to have: previous experience with web3.js or ethers.js libraries

Compensation

• $100-250k base + generous incentives
