Job Description - Recruitment and Training Specialist

Job Analysis:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the specific requirements for each job position.
  • Conduct job analysis to identify key skills, qualifications, and responsibilities.

Sourcing and Attraction:

  • Utilize various channels for candidate sourcing, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and internal databases.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract diverse and qualified candidates.

Candidate Screening and Evaluation:

  • Review resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  • Administer assessments or tests as needed.

Interview Coordination:

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Selection and Offer:

  • Assist in the final selection of candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to extend job offers and negotiate terms.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks and documentation.

Onboarding Support:

  • Work with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Facilitate orientation sessions for new employees.

Training Duties:

Training Needs Analysis:

  • Assess the organization's overall training needs.
  • Conduct individual and departmental training needs assessments.

Program Design and Development:

  • Design and develop training programs that address identified needs.
  • Create training materials, presentations, and other resources.

Training Delivery:

  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Utilize various training methods, including classroom training, e-learning, and on-the-job training.

Evaluation and Feedback:

  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms.
  • Gather and analyze data on employee performance improvements post-training.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new training methodologies.
  • Modify and enhance training programs based on feedback and evolving organizational needs.

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and evaluations.
  • Provide reports to management on the impact and effectiveness of training initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in recruitment and training roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of training methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and training software.
