The Honorable Daniel Lee Perry, 67, died unexpectedly on November 9, 2022 on vacation in Niagara Falls. Born on January 31, 1955 in Orange Park, Florida. Danny and his wife, Bonnie McNair Perry just celebrated 45 years of marriage. Danny attended the University of Florida and Stetson University College of Law. He and Bonnie remained in Tampa for 40 years where they raised their daughters, Amanda (Eric) Hoch and Adrienne (Chase) Harris.

Danny spent his legal career in public service as a Public Defender for 10 years, elected as a County Court Judge in 1990, and a Circuit Judge in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit from 1996 to 2017.

Danny loved travel, Gator football, the beach, he was the first person on the dance floor, and the first person to have the room laughing. More than anything, he loved his family.

The family will be planning a celebration at a later time. Those who wish to remember Danny in a special way may make gifts in his memory to Mayo Clinic at philanthropy.mayoclinic.org/donateMC to the FL Transplant Center-Lung Charity Fund.
