Hash Rush is stepping up their game and released the second version of their September beta. The new version is open to everyone, with no NFT requirements. The team at Hash Rush is rushing through (pun intended) updates like no other games in the blockchain space right now.
After the last Dev Update, the game got a complete facelift and new units, a new game mode named “Dungeon”, plus many new buildings and units… including an awesome dragon to capture your enemy’s base faster!

How To Join The Hash Rush Open Beta
In the past, joining the closed beta required you to have a “Vorto” NFT, currently selling for $5-10 on the game-owned marketplace.
However, Hash Rush is now trying to appeal to a wider audience and removed the entry requirement altogether. Anyone with an interest in RTS games and blockchain-powered titles can now download it.
The game is currently available for Windows only. If you don’t have a Windows machine, you can consider using a free virtualization machine (such as UTM or Virtual Box) or running the game in the cloud through Shadow.

It’s worth noting you won’t need any web3 wallet such as MetaMask to play. After the full transition to the Vorto Network, a first-layer blockchain developed by the team, a wallet is automatically generated for you after the registration.
Additionally, all your assets and resources gained and farmed during the gameplay will be stored on it automatically. You won’t lose any progress, and you will be able to sell your NFT items in the internal marketplace.
Free to Play Reimagined
The new “Dungeon” mode adds several recipes players can gather while battling their way through hordes of enemies and planet-themed bosses. The recipes can be used to craft higher-quality items.
Gathering resources in the new mode and in the standard “RTS” mode, players can acquire materials and exchange them for in-game tokens. These tokens can be then used to purchase NFTs they might need for the game.
The new feature allows anyone, free-to-play gamers included, to own NFTs in the game. This is particularly useful as “Dungeon Mode” requires you to have a squad of heroes based on a pre-set allocation.
Hush Rush removed every barrier that could stand in the way of a newcomer in the blockchain gaming space. With a proprietary blockchain and wallet, an open beta readily available, and a growing Discord community, Hash Rush is a very promising game to follow.
What is Hash Rush
Hash Rush is a real-time strategy game that allows gamers to compete for items, resources and Rush coins. Players work to establish a crystal mining colony on different planets. They can attack enemies to gain more crystals and other rewards. In turn, they need to defend their own crystals from threats by building and strengthening their mining colonies.
In Hash Rush a brand-new unexplored planet with mines and deadly secrets. Ernacks are the hard workers of Hash Rush, they mine crystals, build mines, defend your base, and defeat monsters. Gathering resources is the key to success, and this can be done by mining and defeating monsters. Players need resources to build a base, while different units are available for different purposes.
