Rumble Arcade is building on Beam to bring the next generation of multiplayer games supercharged by communities
We’re honored to announce that Rumble Arcade is building on Beam. This strategy game is built by Tribo Games, a veteran gaming studio, that is now on a mission to bring the next generation of multiplayer games. In the core of it all rests the community, and Beam is making it all happen.
Unleash your inner tactician
With decades of experience building genre-defining games like Plants vs. Zombies, Angry Birds and other notable titles, the team over at Tribo is not only playing great games, they are also building them. Passionately and eagerly, they have now embraced the web3 ecosystem with the community at the forefront of their ambitions. They are convinced that multiplayer games hold the future, and that’s exactly what they are building.
Rumble Arcade is their first release as Tribo Games. This PvP squad battler lets the player take charge of a team of Rumblers in a fight against others. In various turns you select those characters that work best against your opponent. Throughout the game, you can upgrade the characters unlocking new traits and special abilities.
Bring in the rumblers!
As seen in the trailer above, the Rumblers, the playable characters, play an essential role in the game. It’s your mission as a player to collect and upgrade Rumblers and combine them into a deck. As of right now, Rumble Arcade is experimenting whether all characters will turn out to be NFTs, or only specific ones. Those that will turn into NFTs will make their way onto Beam.
With a vibrant game that is bound for a ton of activities such as tournaments or holiday-like campaigns, Rumble Arcade is eager to distribute value across the Beam network to its community. Engaging in various in-game activities, players may be eligible for character NFTs, raffle tickets or entry tickets for exclusive tournaments.

Rumble Arcade is proudly available for everyone to try out. Onboarding is easy and seamless through connecting your discord account. In this first period, there’s a lot of testing happening and a rotation between rewarded and non-rewarded tournaments taking place. Engaging with these tournaments is capped with credits, which are free and they regenerate over time.
With the game being browser-based it’s available on both mobile and PC. The team has seen that the game is really sticky, and players simply can’t put the game away. Throughout a pre-alpha playtest event players spent an average of 2 hours in game per day.
