Optum, buyer of Eugene's Oregon Medical Group, tells patients to seek care elsewhere as physicians leave

A major Lane County health care provider owned by the controversial Optum Inc. is informing an untold number of patients that it will no longer treat them.

In letters, Oregon Medical Group is telling patients that their doctors have left the practice , and it doesn’t have enough other physicians to offer a replacement.
