Barça and Spotify present the Barça Legends list in which the Brazilian names his favourite tunes and the music that inspired him throughout his career

The Barça Legends have hit the Spotify playlists. Barça and the most popular audio streaming service in the world are proud to present the choices of one of the club’s most iconic players of all time, Ronaldinho. Find it on the Barça Legends playlist, which is available on FC Barcelona’s official Spotify page.

Twenty years after he came to Barça, the ever-smiling star has revealed the songs that most inspired and motivated him while he was at the club between 2003 and 2008, making 207 appearances, scoring 94 goals and winning 8 major honours, delighting fans all over the world with his sublime samba skills.

And samba, together with pagode, are the styles that dominate his playlist. "Music has always been part of my life” he says. “I inherited it from my family. And it also influenced my style of play. I believe that every song has a rhythm, every song has a groove. And I took all that to the field too. For me, life without music is impossible and I’m excited to share my special Barça Legends Spotify playlist with fans around the world.”

As well as the Barça Legends, on the FC Barcelona Spotify page you can also enjoy the choices of the likes of Pedri, Lewandowski, Dembelé, Alexia Putellas, Oshoala and Rolfö.

Agreement between FC Barcelona and Spotify

This action is part of the partnership between FC Barcelona and Spotify that brings together the football and music worlds and explores new ways to connect athletes and musicians with their followers worldwide. Playlists, the replacement of the Spotify logo on the Barça shirt with the logos of Drake and ROSALIA, and renaming the stadium Spotify Camp Nou are just some of the outcomes of a deal that has been a turning point for the relationship between sport and music on a global scale.
