New games now: Warzone Mobile, Hades, Balatro, Zenless Zone Zero, Miniclip’s new battler, FunPlus’ Foundation and more

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile (Activision)

The eagerly-awaited mobile version of the blockbuster battle royale shooter is out now on iOS and Android. Activision’s co-head of mobile said on LinkedIn that there were 50m people pre-registered before launch. 

Hades (Netflix)

Following its soft launch in the Philippines, Supergiant’s beloved roguelike is out now globally on Netflix. It’s only available on iOS and there appears to be no plan to bring it to Android. 

Balatro (LocalThunk) 

Speaking to iMore, developer LocalThunk said that a mobile version of the poker-themed roguelike is currently in the works. The game has sold over one million copies to date.

Zenless Zone Zero (Hoyoverse)

The latest round of closed beta testing for this Hoyoverse action RPG is opening soon ahead of its full release later in 2024.

Battle Rivals: Epic Clash (Miniclip) 

Miniclip has soft launched this new strategy title in Italy and Portugal. It’s available on both iOS and Android. 

Foundation: Galactic Frontier (Funplus/Skydance)

State of Survival maker FunPlus is making a Foundation game for iOS and Android, based on the Skydance-made TV show streaming on Apple TV+. Pre-reg is open now, and a closed beta is coming later this year.

One Piece Dream Pointer (Thunder Games)

This new adventure RPG based on the hugely popular anime is launching in China on April 1 for both iOS and Android. 

Valley of the Architects (Whaleo)

This narrative puzzle title from the developer of Widower’s Sky is coming to iOS on March 29. It has a $4.99 price tag.

Katana Zero (Netflix) 

Touch Arcade reports that this retro-themed slasher from developer Askiisoft and publisher Devolver Digital has soft launched on Netflix in the Philippines. The game is out on both Android and iOS.

Solo Leveling: Arise (Netmarble)

Pre-registration is now open for this upcoming action RPG on Android and iOS. The App Store has May 8 listed as its expected release date.

Construction Simulator 4 (Astragon) 

The latest entry in the Construction Simulator series is making its debut on iOS and Android devices on May 28th, over five years after its predecessor.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1 (Hoyoverse

The latest big update to Honkai: Star Rail comes with a slew of events and content to mark the game’s one-year anniversary. It goes live on March 27th. 

Guncho (Arnold Rauers)

Over on Twitter, developer Arnold Rauers has announced this brand new roguelike western-themed shooter. It’s set to launch later this year on both mobile platforms.

Guild of Guardians (Immutable Games) 

This new blockchain-adjacent mobile RPG is launching on May 15 on the App Store and Google Play. It currently boasts one million pre-registrations.

Indus Battle Royale (SuperGaming) 

Pre-registrations for this upcoming battle royale title have crossed 10m on Android following a closed beta program in February.
