Elon Musk’s dad tells Tesla founder to have 30 kids: ‘You’ve got the money’

Elon Musk’s father wants his prodigal son to go forth and procreate — more.

Errol Musk — who is 76 and recently hit headlines for fathering two children with his stepdaughter — encouraged the Tesla founder to continue prolifically procreating in an interview with Business Insider on Thursday.

Elon, 51, has already fathered 10 children with three different women, but Errol says he shouldn’t stop there.

“I can’t see any reason why Elon should not have more children,” Errol declared. “The monarchies of the past thought nothing of having children — and they were all illegitimate.”

“About 80% of them were illegitimate in Europe, you know — 20 or 30 children. You’ve got the money and you’re a king or something, why shouldn’t you?” he asked.

Elon had six children with ex-wife Justine Wilson, who he was married to from 2000 to 2008. Their first child, son Nevada, died of sudden infant death syndrome when he was just 10 weeks old.

The Telsa founder also has two young children with the musician Grimes and recently welcomed twins with Shivon Zilis, who works as an executive at his company, Neuralink.

Errol, 76, hit headlines earlier this year when it was revealed that he had fathered a second lovechild with his stepdaughter, Jana Bezuidenhout.

Elon himself hasn’t ruled out having more children, tweeting in July: “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far.”

The South African-born billionaire is estranged from his father, even though they appear to share the same outlook on procreation.

Errol has seven children, including two young kids with his stepdaughter, Jana Bezuidenhout.

The Musk family patriarch is also open to having even more kids despite his advanced age. “If I could have another child, I would. I can’t see any reason not to … The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce,” he recently told The Sun.

Despite Errol wanting to father more children, Elon has frequently spoken out against his dad’s parenting skills.

In a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone, Elon described him as “evil” and “a terrible human being.”

“He was such a terrible human being. You have no idea. My dad will have a carefully thought-out plan of evil. He will plan evil,” Elon tearfully told the publication.

“Almost every crime you can possibly think of, he has done,” he continued. “Almost every evil thing you could possibly think of, he has done.”

On Wednesday, however, Elon revealed that he and his brother, Kimbal Musk, have provided financial backing for their father since he “ran out of money” decades ago — despite their fractious relationship.

The billionaire made the claim in a Twitter thread stating: “Errol ran out of money in the 90s. My brother & I financially supported him & his extended family in South Africa since then on condition that he not do bad things. Unfortunately, he did do bad things :(.”

It’s unclear whether Elon or Kimbal still provide any financial assistance to their father.

Musk did not elaborate on what he meant by “bad things.” The Post has reached out to his office at Tesla for further comment.
