Zelensky Travels to Finland to Meet With Nordic Leaders

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky traveled to Helsinki, Finland, on Wednesday, May 3, to meet with Finnish President Sauli Niinisto.

Zelensky’s visit was part of a Nordic-Ukrainian Summit where leaders from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland would also be in attendance, Niinisto’s office said.

“Strengthening the capabilities of our warriors on the battlefield and security capabilities of Ukraine is the main objective of today’s visit,” Zelensky said in a Facebook post. Credit: Volodymyr Zelensky via Storyful
