Tell The New York Times: Enough Is Enough

On Wednesday February 15, 2023, a collective of New York Times contributors and member-organizers at the Freelance Solidarity Project independently published an open letter to New York Times Standards editor Philip B. Corbett. The letter establishes and condemns a pattern of poor editorial decision-making and bias in the paper's recent coverage of trans, non-binary, and gender nonconforming people.

To date, the letter has been signed by over 1,0000 New York Times contributors, along with 28,000 and counting additional media workers, readers, and subscribers to the Times.
