Market research done in minutes. When i first used chatGPT i hated it... I thought it would fill the internet with a lot of very average content. I still do. But, over Christmas i've been down the rabbit hole and have came out loving it. Here is a really straightforward example of automating basic market/competitor research. This is a task we have always done as part of our new client onboarding. Usually it takes 60 minutes to formulate. Now it's almost instant. Enjoy.
Do you think that is market research? I like chatGPT, but it's not market research and it's not updated, and it's not guaranteed they are real competitor. And it needs more data about their activities, their services, sizes, locations and more. I really don't understand all you marketers believe that is impressive. İt's simple search on the Google that every average users make only a few minutes.
ChatGPT was trained a few years ago, and cannot update on new info. Doesn't that make this list years out of date? And if its wrong, how will you know? Except by verify the results yourself. And isn't verifying the results almost as time consuming as doing the work from scratch? If this is all true: Is there any real efficiency gain?
Thanks for showing this. I’m like you, not very convinced of ChatGPT yet. I’m probably just asking the wrong questions. 😊 However I tried doing the same for SEO agencies and I got nothing. (Exactly copy/paste of what you did but change fashion brands with SEO agencies) Then I tried marketing agencies and that worked after a couple of tries. Then I tried to specify more as to just marketing agencies in Odense. That didn’t work. Or we’ll it kinda worked, but it was the companies that were national and not specifically from Odense. I have to do a lot more with this chatbot to make it work the way I want. 😉
Hey Andy! What version are you using? I thought ChatGPT wasn’t connected to the internet and was limited ti knowledge before 2021?
People who master the ability to leverage AI will easily 10X their output at the least Andy
I love it! I've been playing around with OpenAI as well. I keep finding ways to make basic and boring (not to mention time consuming) work reeeally easy. Seems like there's no end to what it can do. (Obviously the intention with AI, but feels awesome trying it out 🤓)
AI is the single greatest leverage opportunity for humans this century.
This is a great use case! Do we know what it defines as “the top 10?”
