Notebook-Driven Development
in Tecton 0.6

speakers

Join us for an in-depth look at Tecton's latest release, version 0.6, and the new features that are designed to streamline and simplify feature engineering workflows.

In this video, our experts show you the new notebook-driven development feature. Available in private preview, this feature allows for quick iterations in a notebook before pushing to Tecton's cluster, and  simplifies and accelerates the development and testing of features.

Next, they dive into the new aggregation functions that are now built-in to Tecton. These functions are easy to express, efficient, and performant. With this update, Tecton now contains functions such as count, sum, mean, max, min, last N, last N distinct, variance, and standard deviation. In addition, version 0.6 introduces 1st N and 1st N distinct, with more to come in the near future. These aggregation functions work on batch, streaming, and continuous mode and are built-in natively for free.

They also discuss the new Stream Ingest API, an alternative way to send streaming data to Tecton, and the continuous mode for all Stream Feature Views, which allows feature data to update as quickly as possible.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn how these updates can benefit your feature engineering workflows. Watch this video walkthrough today!
