3 months ago I joined Sidecar Health with the personal mission of accelerating the transition to a more sustainable health insurance model by redefining the member experience through our mobile apps. After an enjoyable few months of reinvention and collaboration, 110 incredible teammates (40% of the company, including our mobile department) and I learned that we’re not immune to the current layoff environment. In my short time with the company, I benefited from getting to work with a number of stellar iOS and Android devs and QA within our mobile department, as well as teammates from the web frontend/backend, design, and other functions within the company.
