It’s fair to say there’s a wide gamut of views within the music community about using generative AI tools in musicians’ work. Some loathe the idea, others love it, and there are many in the middle who are curious but wary.

A new partnership between AI research firm Runway and lyrics’n’metadata company Musixmatch may encourage some more of the unsure to give genAI a spin.
