“ Evan and I worked together for nearly four years, from the early days at Zimride through 2015, when we jointly built out Lyft for Work. He pitched our executive team on the concept, and got their buy-in to start the new division at Lyft. He created the product line from scratch as I built the sales team. He hit the pavement and went to meet our first users in person, and quickly iterate the product based on their feedback. And he'd constantly go beyond that, joining sales calls or personally doing customer support for our first corporate clients. Evan cares deeply about the products he works on, and those who use it. He always took the time to make sure everyone could contribute to the product roadmap, and when a bug or feature couldn't be prioritized right away, he did a great job of explaining why, rather than making people feel like they were talking to a wall. Without him, Lyft wouldn't have scaled as quickly, and Lyft for Work may not have been built yet. He's a leader, and inspires his engineers to work harder and build better products.”
