Celebrating a milestone: last week, Octopus Deploy surpassed US $50M in ARR. A huge thank you to all of our customers and team that have made this possible and made it such a delight to be on this journey. Octopus started in 2010 as a nights-and-weekends hobby project. Today we have over 200 people. Some other facts we're proud of: - We have been a remote-first company since day 1 - We have only had one year in which we didn’t turn a cash profit - We have never created an investor Pitch Deck - We have never been sued, had an unfair dismissal claim, or other employment legal dispute - Gartner still doesn’t get what we do - Although we make enterprise software, our end users love us - our NPS hovers around 60 which is pretty incredible https://lnkd.in/gxr7JJJZ
I foundly remember you creating a pricing plan for us because we were using it on the free tier at Pushpay (in the early days) and I wanted you to charge us SOMETHING.
Congratulations Paul and the Octopus Deploy team on reaching the impressive milestone of surpassing US $50M in ARR! 🎉🚀 Your passion project has transformed into a booming success story. The fact that you've been a remote-first company, prioritizing both profit and your amazing team, is commendable. Keep breaking barriers and challenging industry norms - the sky's the limit!
And that’s what startup success looks like! Well done Paul Stovell and team. A massive effort to not take any investment and hit these numbers, let alone a cash profit every year. Startup people take note: this is how it’s done!
I loved to use and integrated Octopus in our .Net CI/CD pipelines at my ex Company. Cheers 🎉 and Congratulations 👏🏻
Bloody good work! I moved away from the Microsoft ecosystem right about the time things started to get better with work like yours, Satya’s embrace of open source, and the rest. You’ve been a huge part of the complete revival of .net dev in my eyes. $50m must be super validating!
Well done and well deserved, Octopus Deploy is an awesome product.
Let’s keep it going! 😉🚀🌕

7moWow, congratulations! Well deserved! I was introduced to Octopus Deploy in 2013, when Andy Vink brought it into the company we were working at. Andy had a DevOps inspired vision that included a lot more automation, and he made part of that come to life with Octopus Deploy. I, like Ben Gracewood, have since moved away from building on the MS stack, but not before leveraging Octopus Deploy in 2 additional companies. I came to know it well and absolutely loved it, the problem it solved and how it solved it. Goes to show how solving the right problem pays off - well done again from a big fan 👏
