Support for the Nageli Family

It’s in the face of the greatest tragedies, in the times of deepest sorrow that the greatest OPPORTUNITY arises to LOVE and love well.

Loving well is what Sheena’s life embodied. The stories continue to flood in from people, near and far, who have been touched by the life of Sheena Nageli. From brief interactions in the childcare pick up line, to helping mothers through labor, delivery and postpartum challenges, to using her incredible passion and skills with her chiropractic patients… in *everything* she did, Sheena embodied love, patience, grace, wisdom, kindness and genuine care for the soul in front of her. She called herself an “all in” kind of person (something her son, Leo, most definitely gets from her!) and she truly was. She was ALL IN as a faithful sister, daughter, granddaughter, niece, wife, mother and friend… The world lost a gem when her soul went to be with her Savior, Jesus. At the same time, heaven truly gained an angel.

Thursday night, April 20th, Sheena welcomed their precious baby girl, Juliette Joy, into her arms. It was the perfect and seamless home birth her heart so desired. In the process of recovering from the birth, it was determined Monday that she was battling a localized infection unrelated to her pregnancy. Sadly, that infection, for inexplicable reasons, spread quickly. Despite quick medical intervention and the prayers of many faithful saints, Sheena left us here on earth Tuesday evening.

There are so many questions we may never have the answers to. Why Lord? Why Sheena? Why this woman who was so passionate and knowledgeable about health? Why leave her loving husband and son who adored her without a wife and mother? Why 5 days after her precious daughter, Juliette was born?

As we all wrestle with the question of WHY?, we can also direct our attention to the question of WHAT? What can we do to help?

As Nick faces the unthinkable; life without his precious Sheena and raising their infant Juliette and 3 year old son, Leo, there is MUCH we can do. One of the most practical ways to love on and support Nick is through a financial donation. Funds will be used for everything from service arrangements, to medical bills, to the long term care of his two precious children. Thank you so much for your love and support.
