We collaborate closely as a team and work directly with copywriters, product managers, developers, marketers and project managers to envision, design and prototype new growth products, features and initiatives. What You’ll Be Doing
MyFitnessPal is seeking a Product Design Intern to join our team. We're seeking a creative and collaborative individual to ensure exceptional user experience and visual interface design, aligned with established design systems. If you're passionate about design and eager to learn from industry experts, this internship offers a great opportunity. Your role will involve crafting intuitive flows, interactive prototypes, and memorable user experiences based on a deep understanding of user needs and business goals. • Collaborate with the Product Design Lead to assist in the design and development of product features that align with user needs and business objectives. • Participate in user research and user testing to validate design concepts, gather insights, and identify areas for improvement. • Assist in the creation of design deliverables, including user flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity visuals for your assigned features. • Work closely with your mentor and product design leadership to define feature details and contribute to the overall direction of your product area. • Collaborate with engineering, research, and product management teams to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of a polished user experience. • Solicit and incorporate feedback on your work from your mentor, other product designers, and cross-functional team members. • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems to ensure consistency across all product features. • Live our core values in all you do: • Be Kind and Care • Live Good Health • Be Data-Inspired • Champion Change • Leave it Better than You Found It • Make It Happen
Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role • Be a current, full-time college student with at least one academic term remaining following an internship at MyFitnessPal. The following students are generally eligible: • Undergraduate students graduating between December 2024 and May 2025 (rising Juniors or Seniors) • Students completing their master’s degree between December 2024 and May 2025 • Full Time MBA students between the 1st and 2nd year of their program • A portfolio showcasing strong design skills, attention to detail, and creative thinking. • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe CS. • Understanding of UX/UI principles and methodologies. • Passion for solving complex design challenges and creating exceptional user experiences. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a team environment. • Ability to take ownership of design projects from start to finish. • Willingness to participate in weekly design critiques. • Aptitude or interest in systems thinking and information architecture.

Benefits
