Write-up: Brain Death; In the following months my daughter developed a condition of acute ITP (Immune thrombocytopenic purpura); This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (Consumer or other non HCP). The reporter is the parent. A 5-year-old female patient (not pregnant) received BNT162b2 (COMIRNATY), on 26Jan2022 as dose 1, single (Lot number: FP8290) at the age of 5 years for covid-19 immunisation. The patient''s relevant medical history was not reported. There were no concomitant medications. The following information was reported: IMMUNE THROMBOCYTOPENIA (death, hospitalization, life threatening) with onset May2022, outcome "fatal", described as "In the following months my daughter developed a condition of acute ITP (Immune thrombocytopenic purpura)"; BRAIN DEATH (death, hospitalization, medically significant, life threatening) with onset 05Jun2022, outcome "fatal". The patient was hospitalized for immune thrombocytopenia, brain death (hospitalization duration: 18 day(s)). The events "in the following months my daughter developed a condition of acute itp (immune thrombocytopenic purpura)" and "brain death" required physician office visit and emergency room visit.
