    Studied the basics of programming and web development. Curriculum included languages Ruby and Javascript, frameworks Sinatra and Rails, concepts of object-orientated programming, functional programming, and MVC, and of course, a healthy dose of HTML / CSS. Most importantly, learned how to learn.

    Concept for final project was elected by classmates, and the Geotube (http://www.thegeotube.com/), a world map of trending media, was conceived and created in our final week.
