Portals.fi manages the intricacies associated with composability and ensures that exchanging transferrable assets in web3 is as simple as signing an order, regardless of the complexity (or chain) of the underlying assets. About the Job

High-level job description:
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Portals.fi, you will be a key member of the engineering team, leading the design and development of the web-based user interface for our platform. You will significantly influence the direction of frontend development and will be responsible for building scalable, responsive web applications that provide seamless user experiences.

About you:
- You have extensive experience (3+ years) working with JavaScript/Typescript-based systems, including in one of React/NextJS, Vue, or similar and are passionate about building performant web applications
- You have a keen eye for UI/UX and a strong understanding of how to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
- You have a track record of building and maintaining scalable web applications
- You have worked as a core member of a software development team at an early stage and have made significant contributions

Nice to have:
- You have used ethers.js or web3.js before
- You are Proficient in using DeFi protocols like Uniswap, Curve, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the web-based user interface for the Portals platform using React, Next.js, Vue, or similar
- Develop reusable components and maintain the component library
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, and Backend Engineering
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in frontend technologies and apply best practices
- Implement A/B testing and analyze results to improve the user experience
- Collaborate with designers to ensure the user interface is visually appealing and intuitive
- Monitor and optimize frontend performance to ensure a smooth user experience
