How can you maximize your investor network for more than just funding?
It’s one thing to know the backgrounds and network of your investors and the value they can add, it’s another to be proactive about connecting the dots for your portfolio companies. Your founders likely won’t know who all your LPs are and how they can be helpful to their businesses. And both your founders and LPs are too busy to think about how they can mutually benefit from an introduction. Instead of being a VC who asks the question “How can I be helpful?”, you should be proactively thinking about how you can be helpful for them by making the right introductions based on what you know about the needs of your portfolio companies and the resources and network of your LPs.
