In Season 4, BanklessDAO Grants Committee rolled out a KPI reporting framework.
2
This framework splits seasonal and mid-season project grants disbursments into two: 50% up-front and 50% 6 weeks later.
3
In addition to splitting the grant disbursments, projects were required to agree upon and submit 2 monthly KPIs before the second tranche of funding was disbursed.
4
You can read more about these changes here: https://www.notion.so/bankless/Project-KPI-Procedure-d3dfb9af4c6b4bf3b5f33569e96bd1f8

6
To see the difference this policy has made on disbursements, Grants Committee created this sheet to list requested vs actual project disbursements.
7
The Seasonal Funding Tab includes projects which were part of the seasonal disbursement, as voted on by BanklessDAO members
8
The Mid-Season Funding Tab includes projects which requested funding from Grants Committee during the course of Season 4
9
10
The results:
11
1,540,000.00BANK
was requested but not disbursed for seasonally-funded projects
12
4,290,999.73BANK
was requested but not disbursed for mid-season projects
13
5,830,999.73BANK

Notes
16
Just because projects didn't receive their funding in Season 4 does not mean they won't receive it later (if they submit their KPIs)
17
It's not just the new KPI process which made the difference...acting on the DAO's desire for increased accountability, Grants Committee held projects to a higher standard
18
The majority of mid-season project funding requests came from 2 projects: Bankless Brasil and DEGEN
