ACP Tool

The Affordable Connectivity Program Enrollment Performance Tool

Search by ZIP Code

This tool was created to help any community answer the question: “How are Affordable Connectivity Program sign-ups going?”

Begin by entering a 5-digit zip code of interest in the box. The tool displays the actual level of Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) enrollment in the zip code area, the predicted level of ACP enrollment, and how well the area is performing in comparison to the norm. The difference between predicted and actual enrollment is an ACP performance measure. The ACP Risk Score tells users, on a scale from 0 to 100, the level of risk in a zip code area for service disconnection when ACP sunsets. The higher the score, the greater the risk.

DOWNLOAD THE DATA

The Benton Institute for Broadband & Society is making ACP Enrollment Performance Tool results data available free for downloading. Click here and you will be asked to fill out a short form.

The data, in .csv format, includes each of the “results” fields from the ACP Tool’s main page for the more than 25,000 zip codes included in the tool. The dataset also includes a field identifying each zip code’s state. [The state code is the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) code and the list of codes and their corresponding states can be found here.]
