“As a Senior Software Engineer at Improbable, I worked directly with Apu for several years - both on the same team and as peers in different teams. Apu is a highly motivated, approachable and empathetic leader. I’ve seen him fill many gaps, working in customer-facing, internal, and management roles across the engineering and product organisation. I was particularly impressed by Apu growth-mentality and drive, which helped him achieve impressive results for the teams he worked in and for the company as a whole. It’d be a pleasure to work alongside Apu again in the future - congratulations to any team that is lucky enough to work with him! PS: he’ll dog-sit for you anytime :)”

CUSPE attracts researchers from across the academic disciplines (scientists, engineers and social scientists), all of whom have a desire to understand how their own research, or science more generally, fits within a broader policy context. I have helped organise debates, workships and sponsorship on topical public science issues, and I have also had the wonderful opportunity of meeting policy-makers and researchers with an impact on society.

Emmanuel College May Ball
Head of Infrastructure
-I had the responsibility of organising our college ball with external contractors, the city council, the college and other committee members. The ball was a very large scale event, with roughly 1500 guests, and it was my responsibility to ensure that it goes smoothly logistically and also has creative coherency. I was also tasked with managing a considerable budget.
