I transitioned from a Finance/IT consulting career to DEI consulting after becoming a mother. I promised my son (Orlando) and future generations to create thriving workplaces for EVERYONE. Today, I am the founder of Amplify DEI and the co-founder of Global Inclusion in Practice, where I operate as a DEI Coach and Consultant.

Mentoring can be for everyone wherever they are on their career path. A mentor is a person with whom you share your professional situation and ask for feedback on your career plans.
Consider the mentor as a confidential "sounding board" with which you can exchange ideas about possible career choices, in a neutral environment outside your daily work environment.
As co-leader of the Mentoring program for PWN Amsterdam, I use our gender-balanced leadership network to promote empowerment and progress in the careers of companies and entrepreneurs.

Stichting Know Better Do Better is a non-profit organization. The organization is thrilled to announce the airing of ‘Cooking Back To Our Roots’ on TV.
The TV program is an initiative of the Stichting Know Better Do Better and Nutrition Advocate Vivian Acquah. The new TV program focuses on the taboos on diabetes, with respect for culture. The informative TV program will have many well-known non-Western Dutch guests on the program.
In ‘Cooking Back To Our Roots, Acquah interviewed…Stichting Know Better Do Better is a non-profit organization. The organization is thrilled to announce the airing of ‘Cooking Back To Our Roots’ on TV.
The TV program is an initiative of the Stichting Know Better Do Better and Nutrition Advocate Vivian Acquah. The new TV program focuses on the taboos on diabetes, with respect for culture. The informative TV program will have many well-known non-Western Dutch guests on the program.
In ‘Cooking Back To Our Roots, Acquah interviewed non-western Dutch about a healthy lifestyle within their own culture. In 2016, Acquah won the Best Diabetes Idea, an initiative of the Diabetes Fonds. “Diabetes is more common among Dutch people with a non-western background. Unfortunately, this population receives nutritional advice that often does not fit into their culture. With the team’s vision to bring awareness towards diabetes, Acquah’s young assistant, Lanaï Hodge and Acquah will like to talk to the following role models on the TV program: Jetty Mathurin, Raja Felgata, Minchenu Maduro, Raquel Hodge, Sabra Rahiembaks and Charlene Austin.
“Healthy eating is possible without making too many concessions to a food culture so that anyone can adopt a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle should be possible at any age (young or old), without discrimination towards education, ethnicity, and income.” Said Vivian Acquah, founder of Stichting Know Better Do Better. “The philosophy behind Know Better Do Better is that when you know better, you can make conscious choices.” She added.
In many non-Western populations, diabetes is a topic that is hardly spoken. Cooking Back To Our Roots will break down taboos and also show everyone that they can eat healthier within their culture. It’s a television show in which everyone can feel at home. The TV program will allow every diabetic patient and the people around to be able to recognize themselves.
